Years coaching for Nittany WildKatz: 4 years

 Level coached: Wildkatz kubs, Juniorz, Seniorz, and Open Team

Goals: My goal as a coach is to teach competitive cheerleading and to have cheerleading reach skill at progressive rate. I want my cheerleading team to grow individually and to become strong athletes.

Instructors:

Nancy Adams - teaches MegaTot classes, and says her goal is "to provide a fun learning environment that will inspire kids to continue with gymnastics"

Heather Anderson - currently a level 9 gymnast on the Girls Team.  She teaches in our GymStar program as well as Birthday Parties.  She has been a State Competitor every year and has also been a State Champion on Beam.

Katelyn Arnold - teaches MegaTot & GymStar classes as well as helps in the Office.  Her goal is "For my students to try their best and improve on their skills.  For them to have a positive attitude and passion for gymnastics."

Laurie Bonchonsky - was a Level 9 gymnast New Jersey and attended multiple Regional and National competitions.  She currently teaches in our MegaTot & GymStar programs.

Liz Collins - teaches in our GymStar program.  Her goal is to "help each gymnast improve and have fun with gymnastics"

Tia Dudukovich - helps out with our Summer MegaTot program & camps. 

Mariel Echemendia - currently a level 9 gymnast on the Girls Team.  She instructs at Birthday Parties as well as in our GymStar program.

Kristin Gallagher -  teaches in our GymStar program.  She says "She loves the sport.  eing a gymnast has impacted my life, not only in the gym, but in other areas as well.  I'd like to be able to have that kind of impact on someone else."

Andrew Glover - teaches GymStar classes as well as the Girls Hot Shot & Pre-Team Programs.  He was a gymnast since the age of 8 and competed up to Level 10 at Pancott Gymnastics.

Shara Gress - is the Coach of the Girls Recreational Team.  She was a competitive gymnast at the Lebanon YMCA.  When asked why she wants to coach, she said "Gymnastics has always been a big part of my life and I had wonderful coaches throughout my time in gymnastics.  I hope to pass on the fun and love for the sport that I was able to experience."

Elizabeth Hay - instructs our Kids in Motion class.  She was a competitive baton twirler for many years and achieved many awards in her career.

Beth Jacobs - currently helps coach the Girls Team.  She coaches as well as teaches dance to the teams.  She was a competitive gymnast since the age of 5 at Bradford YMCA.

Mackenzie Jones - teaches Birthday Parties.  She was also a competitve gymnast at Spirit Gymnastics.

Devon Jones - currently teaches Birthday Parties.  She was a competitive gymnast, level 8, at Upper Bucks YMCA.

Bohdan Kosenko - Boys Team Assistant Coach.  Was a competitive gymnast at Erie Gymanstics Center and has gained many awards at the State and Regional level.  When asked why he coaches, he said " I love gymnastics, kids are awesome and I love being a part of a team that uplifts and supports all its members."

Max Levi - was a Level 10 competitive gymnast here at Nittany.  He has been working here at Nittany for the last 6 years, teaching in all of our programs.

Kerry Lewis - teaches in our MegaTot & GymStar programs.  She has been working here since 2004 and was also a competitive gymnast.

Lauren Lissenden - currently a Level 10 gymnast here at Nittany.  She has been in the sport since she was 3 and has achieved many awards on the State level.

Kelsey Moore - currently teaches in our GymStar program.  She is a gymnast with the Bellefonte High School team.

Jen Orlando - currently helps coach our Girls Team.  She was a Penn State gymnast and was a part of the First All-Big Ten Team.  Her goal is to "use my experiences to motivate and inspire younger gymnasts to excel and love the sport."

Dan Riefel - currently a Level 10 gymnast on the Boys Team.  He helps out with the Boys Team in the summer months.  He has achieved many recognitions on the State, Regional and National level.

Casie Rockey - currently teaches with our GymStar program. She was a former gymnast here at Nittany, as well as at Indiana University of PA. 

Sam Stalley  - teaches in our GymStar & MegaTot programs.  She began gymnastics at the age of 3 and continued to Level 9.

Ruthie Straub - teaches in our MegaTot program.  She has been with us since 2002.

Katie Tran - teaches in our MegaTot program and helps out in the Office. 

Tricia Truninger - teaches in our MegaTot & GymStar programs, as well as helps out in the Office. She competed through Level 8 in Minnesota. 

Amy Turner - teaches in our MegaTot program and also helps in the Office.  She attended Nittany when she was a child. 

Kris Wahl - currently the Assistant Coach of the Nittany Wildkatz.  She has been a part of the Wildkatz since the begining.  She coaches all teams and when asked why she coaches, she said "Some of my best memories came from my years in cheerleading and I want to be able to provide those same opportunities to the next generation.  Plus, being involved in a sport provides our youth with the opportunity to develop into well-rounded individuals."

Courtney Weigand - teaches in our MegaTot & GymStar programs.  She was a competitive gymnast at Cherry Hill Gymnastics in New Jersey.  She is also involved with the Special Olympics.

Kelsey Wellar - teaches with our Birthday Parties.  She is currently a competitive gymnast here at Nittany as well as on the Bellefonte High School team.

Cassie Worsdorfer - teaches Birthday Parties and is currently on our Open Team Wildkatz.
