Recreational - Boys GymStar Gymnastics

The GymStar program at Nittany is our progressive instruction of skills on all Olympic events for girls and boys. Students age 6 and up participate in a structured warm-up session at the start of each class to build strength, flexibility and a solid foundation. Weekly event rotations give students the chance to practice and learn skills on each event in a regular, systematic fashion. Boys GymStar (age 6 and up)
Our Boys curriculum is divided into three Levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold, and within each class level, skills are subdivided into additional more specific levels. Students progression is tracked on their individual Progression Form and their NGA Progression Poster.

Boys Events are: Vault, Floor Ex./Tumbling, Still Rings, Pommel Horse, Parallel Bars, Horizontal Bar, Trampoline, and Pit.
